After being subjected to superheating, the governor of Minya orders the speedy withdrawal and refloat of the tourist ship

Minya Governorate announced in a statement that the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network had received a report stating that one of the tourist boats had run aground in the Nile River in front of the village of Nazlet Amr, affiliated with the Al-Husseiniya Village Council, in the Beni Mazar center, north of the governorate. 

He reported The report states that the cruise ship (Crown Vision) was on a voyage from Akhenaten Marsa in the city of Minya, heading to Beni Suef Governorate, carrying a tourist group consisting of 59 tourists, including 57 of German nationality and 2 of French nationality.

Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, immediately directed the concerned agencies to quickly deal with the ship and refloat it again, and the necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure the safety and security of the passengers and the ship’s crew. A tugboat is currently being used to try to tow the ship, free it from the site of the run-off, and return the ship to its normal course.

All concerned agencies are working. With real-time follow-up of the situation and continuous communication with the Governor of Minya and the executive leadership in the governorate until it is ensured that the situation is completely and safely ended.
