Dr. Nahla Al-Saidi, Advisor to the Sheikh of Al-Azhar for Expatriate Affairs and Head of the Center for Development of Education for Expatriate and Foreign Students at Al-Azhar, met with Dr. Arwan bin Sabri, Professor at the University of Islamic Sciences in Malaysia, and his accompanying delegation. To discuss ways to enhance scientific cooperation and the possibility of benefiting from the center’s expertise in the field of teaching the Arabic language, as well as discussing the establishment of a center for teaching the Arabic language in Malaysia under the supervision of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

 

Dr. Nahla Al-Saidi confirmed The children of Malaysia and its expatriate students studying at Al-Azhar have a special place in the heart of Al-Azhar, and they receive special attention and care from His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, who always recommends taking care of them and working to provide them with an environment that stimulates academic achievement, and integrating them into various activities. and student events; To be ambassadors for Egypt and Al-Azhar abroad, convey Al-Azhar’s moderate message, and convey the true religion in their countries.

 

She indicated that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is keen to support educational institutions in Islamic countries, in an effort to To advance the educational level of Muslim children everywhere, in addition to his keenness to spread the Arabic language as the language of the Holy Qur’an, and to work to strengthen its role in the Islamic world, through establishing Al-Azhar centers to teach the Arabic language to non-native speakers outside Egypt, sending teachers, and organizing training courses to qualify Teachers, which contributes to building a generation that is aware and adheres to its religious and cultural identity.

 

For his part, Dr. Arwan bin Sabri praised the efforts made by the Center for the Development of International Student Education in teaching the Arabic language, And his interest in Malaysian students studying at Al-Azhar. He also praised the depth of the strong relations between Al-Azhar and Malaysia, expressing his hope that this cooperation would be strengthened to include other areas of education and culture, thus contributing to strengthening scientific and cultural ties, and achieving more benefit for Malaysian students studying at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
