Abu Dhabi Police and ADNOC Distribution launch initiative for free inspection of light vehicles in the summer
Abu Dhabi, 2nd August, 2018 (WAM) — The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and ADNOC Distribution have launched a free inspection initiative for light vehicles, which includes 12 points at all ADNOC Distribution light vehicle technical inspection stations and centres, to ensure the safety of drivers and road users and ensure the safety of vehicles as temperatures rise during the summer.
The initiative includes checking tires, brakes, oil, coolant, air conditioning, and more.
The initiative comes from the two parties’ keenness to encourage drivers to undergo technical inspection of vehicles.
ADNOC Distribution called on drivers wishing to undergo the free summer vehicle inspection to go to ADNOC Distribution’s vehicle technical inspection stations and centers.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that the initiative includes providing advice and guidance to drivers on the importance of technical inspection of vehicles and ensuring the safety of tires, in order to ensure their safety and that of their companions, and to avoid accidents.
