Abu Dhabi, 6 August / WAM / The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading developer of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, are hosting the luxury tourism exhibition “Loop Central and Eastern Europe” for the first time in the Middle East.
The exhibition will be held from 15 to 19 September 2024 at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara in Al Dhafra Region.
The exhibition aims to provide luxury tourism and hospitality establishments with an exclusive platform to showcase their products and directly connect with a large list of leading buyers, travel agents and holiday planners from Central and Eastern Europe.
Each participating entity will have the opportunity to conduct 62 meetings, each lasting 15 minutes, over the five days of the exhibition, in addition to many other opportunities to network with more than 100 of the best travel, tourism and outbound tour agents from 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia.
Abdulla Yousef, Director of International Operations at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, welcomed this international luxury tourism exhibition for the first time in the Middle East, consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a global destination that meets the aspirations of those seeking high-end experiences, tours and offers.
He said that the exhibition supports the department’s ambitious goals to place Abu Dhabi at the top of the “wish list” of travelers from all over the world, and also provides it with bridges for dialogue and knowledge exchange to study prospects for joint cooperation to attract more visitors to the emirate, and strengthen relations in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.

Coinciding with Abu Dhabi hosting the Loop Without Borders exhibition, the emirate is witnessing a steady growth in the number of visitors from Central and Eastern Europe, as its hotel facilities achieved a significant increase in the number of guests from Bulgaria (86%), Romania (47%), Poland (42%), and the Czech Republic (31%) during the first five months of 2024, compared to the same period in 2023.
