Abu Bakr Al-Qadi: Reconciliation decisions in clinics increase the patient’s burden on the doctor

Dr.’s face. Abu Bakr Al-Qadi, Treasurer of the Doctors Syndicate, Assistant Secretary of the Medical Professions Union, and Rapporteur of the Facilities Committee of the General Syndicate of Doctors, asked the governors about the decision to reconcile old and licensed medical facilities and transfer them administratively, saying: “What is the wisdom and what is the benefit of that?” What is the benefit to the Egyptian patient from this other than bearing additional financial burdens?". From residential to administrative, although these doctors did not violate the law until they legalized their conditions, explaining that according to Law No. 153 of 2004 regarding health facilities, which stipulates that medical facilities may not practice their activities except with a license from the competent governor and obtaining an operating license from the liberal treatment  This procedure was done by doctors, so where is the violation in order for it to be legalized?

He added:" Where are the administrative buildings in 90% of the governorates of Egypt in the villages and popular neighborhoods? This means that these places will be deprived of medical service, at a time when these private facilities contribute to treating approximately 70% of the Egyptian citizen’s treatment.

He stressed that as a result of this abuse, financial burdens will be added to the Egyptian patient, or may result in not providing medical service  In popular neighborhoods and villages full of low-income people, and the nearest hospital in most of them may be more than 30 kilometers away from it, so where does the patient go?"

He pointed out that there are large governorates that do not have new administrative buildings in At a time when population density is increasing, stressing that  These measures will further make the medical work environment a repulsive environment for doctors, which will increase the migration of doctors, so we requested a meeting with the Minister of Local Development to solve the problem for the citizen before the doctor.”
