Abdul Latif: Preparing remedial programs for reading impaired people

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour of the “Martyr Issam Mohamed Tamim Primary” schools. The former Modern Matareya School, the Martyr Mustafa Sayed Fouad School (formerly Al-Rashad), and the Abdullah Al-Nadeem Primary School. affiliated with the Matariya Educational Administration in Cairo Governorate, to follow up on the educational system there and ensure the proper functioning of the school year 2024/2025, and to determine the extent of implementation of instructions and adherence to decisions regulating the educational process.

 

He accompanied the Minister during His tour was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.

 

Mr. Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif began his inspection tour at “Martyr Issam Mohamed Tamim Primary School.” Which includes 999 male and female students, where he inspected the classes of the first, second and third grades of primary school, and followed up the attendance and absence rates of the students, stressing the importance of adhering to the implementation of the educational motivation and school discipline regulations.

 

He also continued. The Minister directed the students’ level in reading, class notes, and assignments. He directed the school principal to focus on monitoring the students’ level in reading and writing and preparing remedial programs for those with poor reading. He also directed that follow-up committees be sent from the Ministry to the school to monitor the performance of the school’s educational process.

 

The minister also inspected the “Martyr Mujand Mustafa Sayed Fouad (formerly Al-Rashad)” school. Preparatory School for Boys, which included 2,291 students, where the Minister followed up on the students’ performance of the weekly assessments, directing the school principal to continuously monitor all mechanisms related to the work of the year and the regularity of the students’ performance of the weekly assessments.

After that, the Minister went to inspect the “Abd” School. Allah Al Nadeem Primary School " Which includes 1,693 male and female students, as the Minister was keen to follow up on the various mechanisms for implementing the Sunnah’s work, and he also conducted a dialogue with a number of students about their academic performance and the extent to which they benefited from the explanation in the class.

 

At the end of the tour, Minister Muhammad Abdel Latif directed the intensification of sending follow-up committees to all schools in the Matariya Educational Administration to follow up on the discipline of the educational process in them, monitor any challenges that hinder the implementation of the announced mechanisms and decisions, and develop quick solutions to them.  

 

The Minister also met with a number of parents in front of “Abdullah Al-Nadim Primary School” He listened to their opinions about the performance of teachers in the school, stressing that he and the ministry’s leaders regularly follow the educational process in various schools in the republic.
