JoJo Siwa has been a bad girl and done some bad things, and now, she’s been absolutely slammed by Abbie Chatfield for taking her best friend Kath Ebbs for a fkn ride.
For the last few weeks, the Dance Moms star had been a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother UK. On Friday, the series wrapped up and Kath travelled eight hours to be at the house upon JoJo’s exit — despite growing scrutiny that JoJo had been emotionally cheating on Kath with fellow housemate, Love Island star Chris Hughes.
On Sunday, Kath took to TikTok to reveal that they were in “a complete state of shock” after being dumped by JoJo at the afterparty.
While the internet has collectively rallied to support Kath, Abbie has shared her personal opinion on the situation, noting that the internet has missed some pretty key points in the discourse. Most notably, the public aspect of it all.
“There is no way for anyone to comprehend the gravity of this without being in the public eye. And as someone who has had a lot of experience being in tabloids, this is the main thing that I thought was worthy of ending the relationship,” the FBoy Island host explained in a TikTok video.
Abbie went on to explain that JoJo being cuddly and affectionate towards Chris isn’t the issue for the public; rather, that’s between Kath and JoJo’s own boundaries in a relationship.
However, Abbie says her problem with the situation lies in JoJo knowing better than most how the media works — she would have been fully aware Kath was watching and allowed them to become collateral damage.
“JoJo would be aware that Kath would be getting trolled from that behaviour, and that is something I find abhorrent,” Abbie continued.
“Going in and having this flirtation with Chris, JoJo would be aware that there will be headlines and therefore Kath would be hounded. Now, Kath is in the public eye to a certain extent, nowhere near JoJo. But in Australia, a lot of you would know Kath. It’s very different being in the public eye in Australia versus being hounded by the UK Press, the Australian press and millions of people online.”

In another post, Abbie also shared that what went down between Kath and JoJo was “so much worse for Kath” than what has been made public.
Taking to Instagram and TikTok, the podcaster shared screenshots of a FaceTime call she had with Kath as well as TikToker Mitch Greer and podcaster Rowdie Walden.
Judging by the looks on their faces, it’s clear that Kath just shared some bonkers, jaw-dropping tea.
“You think ur shocked ?? IMAGINE HOW WE FEEL!!!!” Abbie captioned the post on Instagram. She also added JoJo’s notoriously hated track “Karma” as the audio.
In the comments, fans have voiced their support for Kath.
“Justice for Kath!!!” wrote one commenter.
“Kath literally made me actually like Jojo for once and this is what Jojo does to them,” wrote another.
“I’ve been waiting to hear your opinion on this,” said another commenter, with Abbie responding, “I’ve been livid for weeks”.
On TikTok, Abbie shared the same post with the caption: “Ok, and it’s so much worse for Kath than all of you know. Goodbye to our friendship with JoJo Siwa I guess?”
In case you have missed it, former Dance Mom‘s child star turned musician (???) began dating Aussie darling and influencer Kath back in November last year.
The pair appeared pretty loved up right until JoJo headed into the Celebrity Big Brother UK house in early April. In fact, JoJo even spoke fondly of her partner whilst in the house.
Over the last few weeks, JoJo’s friendship with fellow housemate, Chris, 32, has received a hell of a lot of attention when fans began speculating that perhaps Chris and JoJo were becoming more than friends in the house. Later, JoJo stated she was “queer” rather than lesbian after questioning her gender identity in an episode aired April 22, sparking even more theories that there was romance blossoming between the pair.
However, in an interview with E! News, Chris claimed that his love for JoJo is only platonic.
“We’re just messing around — we’re being kids,” he said.
“JoJo was like a pure rock to me. She was someone I can have fun with. From a friendship point of view, yeah, of course I love her. It was just a friendship, which is only going to get stronger.”
In a now-deleted TikTok video, a devastated-looking Kath claimed that JoJo “emotionally cheated” on them during her time in the Big Brother house. Meanwhile, JoJo has been spotted hanging out with Chris at a tennis club less than 48 hours after leaving the house.
While it seems like Kath was treated pretty badly by JoJo, let’s not forget that JoJo is 21 years old. As a child star who went from tour to tour rather than having the same formative experiences we did, she’s still figuring things out. Hell, her frontal lobe isn’t even developed yet.
Is that to say we excuse bad behaviour? No, it just means we have kindness and understanding for all involved. No matter which side of the drama you’re on though, I think we can all agree that JoJo had a wish, I bet she never would have effed around.
