Abbas Saber: The Petroleum Syndicate is keen to spread the culture of inclusion and equal opportunities
The General Union of Petroleum Workers, headed by accountant Abbas Saber, organized a symposium entitled " Developing the capabilities of people of determination to integrate into different work sectors” for workers with disabilities in the petroleum sector, at the union’s headquarters in Hadayek El-Qubba. Inclusion and equal opportunities, and its interest in people with disabilities, and always seeks to provide all support to them, pointing out that people with disabilities are an integral part of the fabric of society and have rights and duties. They achieve many achievements, stressing that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi pays special attention to people of determination and special abilities and the importance of integrating them into the sectors of the Egyptian state, as they are an important and influential part of Egyptian society.
As he stated Accountant Abbas Saber announced that the Executive Council of the General Union of Petroleum Workers has taken a decision to establish a specialized secretariat for people of determination in the union that includes individuals from all companies in the petroleum sector and It will be a direct channel of communication with the executive council of the union to support people of determination. It plays a major role in supporting people with disabilities and providing a work environment available to everyone, whether inside the work sector or outside the work sector, in addition to providing them with psychological support and involving them in various activities organized at the level of the petroleum sector, which contribute to the development of their personalities. It qualifies them for the labor market, and the Petroleum Syndicate will hold a series of these seminars, which will contribute to developing the skills and capabilities of colleagues of people of determination.
This came during a symposium organized by the General Union of Workers. With petroleum, in commemoration of the International Day for People of Determination in order to empower them for a comprehensive and better future, the symposium was attended by Ahmed Mubarak, Vice President of the Union, Hossam Farouk, Vice President of the Union, and Sabri Abdel. Dear Vice President of the Syndicate, Engineer Ahmed Naseem, Vice President of the Syndicate, Mohamed Yousry, Vice President of the Syndicate, Ali Hassan, Assistant Treasurer and Secretary of Education and Training, Haitham Zad Al-Din, Head of the Media Center, Ahmed Al-Gohary, Youth Secretary, Alaa Zaki, Membership Secretary, and Mohamed Salah, Member. The Executive Council, and a large number of colleagues with special needs in companies in the petroleum sector.
The symposium included a number of lectures in which Dr. Tariq lectured. Al-Azali, lecturer on psychological stress, human development consultant, and specialist in behavior modification, skills development, and rehabilitation of cases of motor and sensory disabilities, held a symposium entitled Rehabilitation and psychological and social support for people of determination. The second lecture also covered a symposium entitled Empowering and integrating people of determination into the work environment, in which Dr. Tariq Mustafa, an expert, lectured. Labor relations, economic and social rights, and the Director General of the Greater Cairo Region for Labor Culture. The lectures were translated into sign language, by Dr. Hisham Mohamed, Sign language translator at Ain Shams University and Cairo University.
