Aaron Rodgers and RFK Jr’s candid conversation revealed… after pair met for LA dog walk in new Netflix doc
Aaron Rodgers and Robert F Kennedy Jr. opened up on their shared political values during a Los Angeles dog walk caught on camera earlier this year.
Rodgers filmed a three-part Netflix documentary titled ‘Enigma’, due to release on Tuesday, and Mail Sport was given early access to the footage.
In an eye-opening clip showing their meet-up on February 15, while RFK Jr was deep on the campaign trail and Rodgers was nearing the end of his Achilles recovery, the pair get straight into politics chat.
When asked by the cameraman how he is finding it out on the road, RJK Jr replies: ‘Well, it’s such an absurd notion to run for president. It’s crazy.
‘I go out on the road and so many people come to me every day and say, “You’ve given me hope.” It makes me feel like I’ve got to be the person that they think I am.
‘I have to be a leader. Then also, you get a kind of stoicism from being hammered all the time. And you have to kind of embrace that. It’s like you.’

Rodgers then replies: ‘Every day for you. Everyday life for you.’
As the conversation moves on and they make their way back down the LA trail, RFK asks Rodgers: ‘Have you thought about going into politics?’
In response, the NFL quarterback says: ‘I got into politics back when I was a sophomore in high school. I mean, the idea all around, honestly, your uncle’s death. That was my first entrance into pulling the veil back, as I call it, on what’s actually going on because I read the Warren Commission’s report about it. I remember it hit me going, “This is what they said happened?” This can’t be real.
‘And then I went to Berkeley, which is a crazy political environment. It’s super leftist and I grew up in a really conservative, small-town environment, so that was fun to have my ideologies tested.

‘But, I mean… I’ve just been disheartened forever that there’s a two-party system that’s really one party. The one party that’s ruling is the people with the money.
‘So I really didn’t have any hope in politics until, really, until you announced your candidacy.’
Six months later, RFK Jr dropped out of the presidential race, removing his name from the ballot and instead endorsing Donald Trump.
Following Trump’s re-election, he was tapped to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services when the presidency begins.
