A surprise tour by the Minister of Education in Beni Suef schools

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted this morning a surprise inspection tour of several schools belonging to the Wasti and Nasser Educational Administrations in Beni Suef Governorate. This is within the framework of continuing to monitor the regularity of the educational process throughout the Republic.

The Minister was accompanied, during his tour, by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.

The Minister began his tour by visiting schools affiliated with the Department Al-Wasta Educational School, where he inspected the “Saadawi Mujahid Abdel-Ghani Combined Secondary School,” which includes 499 male and female students. During his inspection of the school’s classrooms, he was keen to check on the level of students there and follow up on attendance rates. And absences, and he also reviewed the students’ performance during the previous month’s tests.

After that, the Minister inspected the “Al-Maslub Joint Primary School,” which has 1,017 students, divided into the morning and evening shifts, where he monitored the students’ level. In reading and writing, he also followed up on the remedial plan for the students’ level in mathematics and the extent of the students’ commitment to class notebooks and school assignments. 

Then the minister went to “Maasara Abu” school. Sir Al-Jadeeda Primary School, which has 298 students. During his inspection of the school, he was keen to monitor the students’ attendance rates and review the books recording the students’ grades in the weekly assessments. To check on the level of academic achievement.

Then the minister went to several schools affiliated with the Nasser Educational Administration, where he inspected the “Al-Hammam Joint Preparatory School,” which has 618 students.

During his inspection For classes, the Minister was keen to follow up on students’ attendance rates in each class, class notebooks and school assignments, and was also keen to ensure the extent of their understanding of the academic subjects.

The Minister also conducted a dialogue with some students at the school about their ability to achieve. study within the school and the extent to which they benefit from the weekly assessments, stressing that applying these assessments contributes to the student knowing his academic level and getting the lessons up to date.

After that, the Minister went to the “Al-Hammam Combined Secondary School”, which has a number of students. Its students are 218 male and female students, as the Minister was keen to verify the students’ academic level, follow up on attendance and absence rates, and also discuss with the students about their future aspirations.
