Al-Nasr Automotive Company has a good reputation and an honorable history in this industry, which has been unique in it since the sixties of the last century.
Al-Nasr Automotive Company was established. In 1960, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 913, it began as an ambitious project aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in the automobile industry in Egypt, within the Egyptian government’s project at that time called “From the Needle to the Rocket,” which aimed to assemble cars in the first stage and then Moving to fully manufacturing cars at a later stage.
From its headquarters and factory in the Wadi Hof area in Helwan, south of Cairo, the company has become one of the most prominent leading companies in the local automobile industry, as it was able during the first phase of its work to achieve a prominent position in the Middle East region, as it was one of the few companies in the region that produces lorries, agricultural tractors, and buses.
< p>It also produced the first Egyptian private car, the “Ramses”, in addition to the “Fiat” cars, which were the best-selling cars in Egypt at the time of their production. The company also produced a number of its models, such as “Nasr 128”, “Nasr 127”, “Tempra”, “Florida”, and “Nasr Shaheen”.
With the beginning of the nineties, the company’s conditions deteriorated and it was issued A decision to liquidate it in November 2009, due to the arrival of… Its debts amounted to about one billion Egyptian pounds, as the number of workers decreased from 10,000 to 300 workers, then the company resumed work partially in 2013, until it stopped production in 2015.

In August 2022, a decision was issued By merging it with the Engineering Company for the Automotive Industry to create an entity specialized in the manufacture of electric cars.
