A cooperation protocol between the Cairo Petroleum Refining Company and the Association for Vocational Training and Productive Families
The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the signing of the protocol for implementing a new community project (Shabab al-Khair) in North Sinai Governorate to restart the vocational training center for young people, especially people of determination, in the carpentry profession and to empower women as craftsmen in this profession for the first time in the Republic, and to participate in the rehabilitation Homes of the villages most in need in the governorate.
The protocol that was signed between the Cairo Petroleum Refining Company and the Association for Vocational Training and Productive Families comes in the presence of the Governor of North Sinai. Major General Dr. Khaled Megawer is within the framework of the petroleum sector’s social responsibility strategy, which expands the implementation of many community initiatives to support and improve education, health care, training, economic empowerment, and support for people of determination, youth, and women in various regions in Egypt’s governorates.
The protocol was signed by Engineer Wael Rizk, President of the Cairo Petroleum Refining Company, and Engineer Hamdi Abbas, President of the Vocational Training and Productive Families Association.
The (Youth of Goodness) project includes supporting and returning… Operating the association’s vocational training center and carpentry workshop to train and employ 40 young men of both sexes, including young people with disabilities, and participating in North Sinai Governorate in rehabilitating homes in the villages most in need, with the aim of raising the quality of life in the villages, qualifying productive workers, and supporting craft industries and job opportunities for youth, women, and people of determination.< /p>
The governorate is expected to be delivered 500 doors and windows produced by trained youth To contribute to the rehabilitation of homes In the villages of North Sinai, the delivery will take place in a convoy sponsored by the governorate. The signing of the protocol was attended by Engineer Medhat Shaaban, Assistant CEO of the Petroleum Corporation for Social Responsibility, Ali Gheit, Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate in North Sinai, and Hamdi Hamed, General Manager of Social Responsibility at the Cairo Petroleum Refining Company.
