The President of Mansoura University witnesses the announcement of the results of the Mansoura University Student Union for the year 2024/2025

Today, Thursday, Mansoura University announced the results of the elections to choose the president of the Mansoura University Student Union, the vice president of the union, and the elections to choose the secretaries and assistant secretaries of the higher committees of the university students union, in the presence of Dr. Sherif Khater, the university’s president, and Dr. Mohamed Attia, the university’s vice president for education and student affairs. , Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Supervising the Elections, and distinguished committee members, Dr. Tamer Saleh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, Saad Abdel. Al-Wahab, University Secretary, Dr. Walid Tantawi, Assistant University Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Student Activities Coordinator, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director of the General Administration for Student Welfare.

The Supreme Committee supervising the student union elections at Mansoura University, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jaidi, announced that members of the Students for Egypt family won the presidency of the union, and all the union seats: the vice president of the union, committee secretaries and their assistants, out of 1,039 male and female students who ran for the elections.

The results witnessed the victory of the student, Ali Ismail Muhammad Ismail, in the fifth year of the College of Engineering, for the position of President of the University Student Union, in addition to the victory of the student, Ahmed Muhammad Salah, in the fourth year of the Faculty of Science, for the position of Vice President of the Union.

Dr. Sherif Khater thanked the education sector, students, and all the student care family team at the university and colleges for their efforts throughout the student elections period. He also thanked the higher committee supervising the elections and the subcommittees, stressing his follow-up of the electoral process at the university level throughout the election timetable. To ensure that the electoral process is proceeding transparently and fairly, in accordance with the rules followed and in accordance with the timetable approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.

The University President called for expanding the role of the Union and the participation of all students in various activities with the aim of motivating them, refining their talents, and supporting the spirit of competition among them. The University President congratulated the President of the Union, the Deputy, and the secretaries of the subcommittees. He also saluted the previous Union, wishing it a successful and distinguished academic year full of activities.

Dr. Mohamed Attia expressed his happiness in participating in this student event, which reflects the state of the university movement, and Al-Qaeda’s participation in student activities through the elected student entity, extending his greetings and appreciation to the President of Mansoura University for his continued sponsorship of student activities and the University Student Union, as well as to the Supreme Elections Committee for its efforts in completing the elections. Transparently and in conformity with the rules, deans, agents, activity coordinators, sponsorship managers, and students.

Attia also congratulated the president of the union, the deputy, and the winning students, noting that the students’ victory in the elections is an assignment to manage student affairs, wishing them success.

He invited members of the union to actively participate in the activities and events that the university will undertake, as they are an integral part of this educational institution and their ideas and contributions are what make the university a better place for everyone.

The ceremony for announcing the election results concluded with a group memorial photo of Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater and Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, in the middle of the audience from the Supreme Elections Committee, the deans, the president of the union, the vice president of the union, and the elected students.

It is worth noting that following the announcement of the election results today, the university witnessed multiple student activities by the Students for Egypt family on the occasion of their celebration of winning the elections.
