The Ministry of Health and Population organized a free medical convoy specializing in dentistry to provide specialized medical services to citizens in North Sinai Governorate during the period from November 17 to 18, 2024, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide health care to citizens in remote areas.
< p>Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, explained that examination and treatment services were provided to 60 citizens, including two people with disabilities, The medical services provided included extractions and fillings for children and adults, in addition to the dental prosthesis service.
For his part, Dr. Peter Wajih, Head of the Therapeutic Medicine Sector, pointed out that we visited two main hospitals in the governorate, namely Al-Arish General Hospital and Sheikh Zuweid Hospital. To follow up on the progress of work and provide the necessary medical support, the traffic also included a number of health centers and units in the region to ensure the continuity of providing distinguished medical services to citizens.
"Peter" added, Two workshops were organized for 27 dentists at the governorate level during the same period, on gum surgeries and the basics of infection control in the dental clinic, with the aim of enhancing the medical skills of doctors and ensuring the provision of the best health care.
He stressed that the Ministry Continuing to provide high-quality health services to all citizens, with a focus on training and qualifying doctors to ensure the provision of safe and effective medical care throughout the Republic.
