Bryson DeChambeau finally completes insane golf challenge at his luxury mansion after two weeks of trying
Bryson DeChambeau has completed an incredible golf feat after just over two weeks of trying.
The 31-year-old is a two-time US Open champion, but on November 13 embarked on a new challenge to test his golf abilities – by trying to hit a hole-in-one over his mansion.
And on his 16th day of trying, DeChambeau finally achieved the feat on Wednesday, as he dropped the ball in on his putting green at his Texas property.
After 134 total attempts, the golfer was overjoyed with his achievement as he tossed his hat in the air and ran over to the putting green to see the ball in the hole.
‘Are you kidding me?’ he screamed.
Bryson DeChambeau was overjoyed after completing the challenge on the 16th day of trying
He took 14 shots on Wednesday – and 134 total – before finally nailing the hole-in-one
DeChambeau then kissed the ball and hurled it into the air in celebration.
The world No. 10 had given himself one more total attempt for each day of the challenge, meaning that he had 16 chances to achieve the hole-in-one on Wednesday.
DeChambeau only needed 14 attempts to nail the shot on his final day of trying.
The challenge actually could have ended much sooner, as DeChambeau’s very first attempt 16 days ago saw his shot fall about a foot from the hole.
While some of his fans were sad to see the challenge end, they were quick to congratulate him afterwards on social media.
‘Congrats, Champ. What a ride!,’ one wrote on X.
‘Holy s*** that was epic Bryson!!! Nice shot,’ another said.
And a third said, ‘A lot quicker than I thought.’
DeChambeau finished eighth in the individual standings of LIV Golf in 2024, with the league set to resume in February.
