New Valley Governor: Starting implementation of a STEM school in preparation for its operation next year
Major General Dr. Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, announced the start of work on construction of the STEM School for Outstanding Students, after agreeing to allocate a plot of land with an area of 9,942 square meters to establish the first school for Outstanding Students in Science and Technology (STEM), to be the first in the governorate to accommodate the increasing demand and number of students year after year.
The governor confirmed that the outstanding school to be established in the governorate is the first of its kind with the aim of providing the opportunity for outstanding students in the governorate’s centers to enter it for several reasons, the most important of which is the increase in the number of outstanding students at the governorate’s schools level, eliminating the phenomenon of students’ alienation from their families in sensitive age stages, and giving the opportunity to outstanding students to benefit from The components of these schools.
Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Major General Dr. Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley. This was to discuss ways to enhance joint efforts to develop the educational process in the governorate, as the meeting witnessed a review of the governorate’s efforts to ensure regularity and discipline for the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as joint efforts and projects with the Ministry to develop the educational process.
The implementation and operation of a system to support secondary school students at the governorate level was discussed, through daily lectures in various academic subjects, and linking the directorate with its educational departments to follow up on the quality of the educational system.
