Major General Dr. Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, announced the completion of the Public Prosecution’s investigation into the incident of a large rock mass falling on a number of people in the vicinity of Jabal al-Tair, north of the city of Kharga.
He explained that the security authorities had received a report about the incident yesterday morning, and the concerned security authorities, civil protection and ambulance crews, and officials of the General Administration of Egyptian Antiquities immediately went to the site of the incident, and a number of loaders and cranes were sent to lift the rock mass, which resulted in the recovery of two bodies from under the rubble. Ensure that there are no other victims or bodies, fill the hole and level the accident site.
