Under the generous patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam, His Eminence Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Al-Azhar Mosque is preparing next Wednesday to hold the final council to read the book “Sunan Abu Dawud,” in the presence of His Eminence Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, and His Eminence the eminent scholar and hadith scholar of Egypt, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ma’bad Abdel Karim, member of the Council of Senior Scholars, and His Eminence the distinguished scholar and hadith scholar Prof. Dr. Sobhi Abdel Fattah Rabie, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences at Al-Azhar University.

Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of the Corridors of Al-Azhar Mosque, stated that this council comes as a culmination of efforts that continued for an entire year, during which the Al-Azhar Mosque Organizing 47 councils during which 5185 hadiths, in 169 chapters of the book “Sunan Abi Dawud”, and I started the blessed reading in October of last year, after finishing reading the book “Sahih Imam Muslim”. May God have mercy on him, which reflects Al-Azhar’s keenness to enhance interest in the Noble Hadith and its sciences and facilitate them for those interested and beneficiaries.

Hani Odeh, Director of Al-Azhar Mosque, said that reading this book comes within the framework of Al-Azhar’s ongoing efforts to spread knowledge and teach young people the tolerant values of the Islamic religion. It is expected that the council will witness the presence of a number of scholars, students of science, and students from various nationalities, as the chapters will be read during the closing council.
