The preventive medicine sector provided 180,813 services that varied between routine vaccinations and visits to food facilities, in addition to environmental health work, which varied between visits to swimming pools, water treatment plants, and sewage treatment plants, and the provision of 134,099 services specifically for combating endemic diseases, and also providing 373,816 services for maternity care. And childhood.
The Undersecretary pointed out that the “Bedaya” campaign provided awareness and health education services to citizens through community communication teams deployed in public areas to raise awareness and direct citizens to receive the services provided by the initiative, in addition to holding educational seminars and awareness-raising activities.
The Undersecretary called on all citizens to go to the campaign’s service headquarters and mobile clinic locations to benefit from its services, or to request home visits for elderly patients and those unable to move via the hotline 15335.
