Sohag University, headed by Dr. Hassan Nomani, President of the University, hosted a love meeting for the children of the Holy Qur’an Memorization House in Al-Sala’a and the Red Monastery in Edfa, in the celebration of unity and tolerance organized by the university, within the framework of its keenness to enhance cohesion between the Muslim and Christian fabrics of the nation, and to present a clear message on the depth of the relations of brotherhood and friendship that exist. It connects them, initially under the umbrella of the Presidential Initiative, with the university stadiums at the old headquarters, initially under the umbrella of the Presidential Initiative.
At the beginning of his speech, Al-Noamani welcomed the distinguished guests of the university during their visit to it, which proves that national unity is an authentic principle and a sacred value among Egyptians. He expressed his happiness at the presence of his children from the home and monastery in the university’s hospitality in the major entertainment celebration and in an atmosphere full of love and unity, stressing that The university has ties of love, friendliness and cooperation with Al-Azhar and the Church, whether on the humanitarian, social or service level, including seminars. And visits during holidays and religious and social occasions, wishing continued love, progress and stability for our beloved homeland, Egypt, under the wise political leadership.
Both Dr. Ahmed Hammadi and Bishop Bakhoum appreciated this kind gesture by Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, which aims to consolidate the spirit of brotherhood and emphasize the spirit of one team among all of the Sohagian community, stressing the importance of instilling the concept of national unity in our children, and graduating generations of Egyptians with love for their country in their blood. Muslim and Christian, there is no difference between us, making it clear that this gathering and meeting in the campus of Sohag University is a message and a call. Frankly rejecting division and strife and moving away from the homeland from everything that would disturb this fraternal relationship that brings together the two components of the nation as one homogeneous social fabric.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani honored the distinguished children by presenting them with gifts and toys, and souvenir photos were taken with the attendees from Al-Azhar and the church representatives. The meeting also included a number of entertainment and singing segments for the children, in an atmosphere full of love and happiness.
