“Administrative Control” arrests a person who creates platforms for hacking and electronic fraud against individuals and institutions

As part of the state’s efforts to protect citizens and public and private institutions from cyber risks and new images of crimes committed via the Internet, the Administrative Control Authority was able to arrest a person who specialized in creating platforms to provide electronic hacking and phishing services that target individuals and public institutions. As investigations by the Administrative Control Authority revealed that he had created a number of platforms that provide users with malicious programs specifically designed to steal data. Personal individuals, as well as public and private institutions, especially those that provide financial services, as well as creating fake fraudulent websites attributed to those institutions and selling them to those willing in exchange for sums of money in US dollars to be paid in encrypted currencies to avoid monitoring these transactions and weakening the chances of tracking them, as investigations confirmed that the platforms managed by the accused are among the largest platforms.
