“Make savings without harming the competitiveness of our companies”, estimates Marc Ferracci, Minister Delegate for Industry

The government announced the finance bill, with an effort of 60 billion to restore public accounts, including 20 billion in additional revenue. “From 2017, we made a lot of efforts to lower labor costs. We have increased exemptions from social charges and this has contributed massively to job creation. We need to save money elsewhere. There are other sources of savings than that which consists of increasing the cost of labor for companies.says Marc Ferracci, Minister Delegate for Industry.

To restore public finances, Michel Barnier’s government is banking on an increase in taxes. “I consider that there is no division (in government). We all have the same objective: to save money without harming the competitiveness of our companies. I hope that the cost of labor does not increase”adds the minister.
