Parliamentarians: The foreigners’ asylum law enhances Egypt’s efforts to provide them with a decent life

A number of members of the House of Representatives praised the state’s efforts to provide care for foreigners, through Parliament’s approval of the new law that aims to provide a legal framework for refugees.

The member of the House of Representatives stressed that the new law enhances Egypt’s international standing as a hospitable country committed to humanitarian principles, as well as being an important step to support social and economic stability.

 He praised Abbas praised the efforts made by state institutions and civil society in providing assistance to refugees, stressing that this law will contribute to improving their living conditions and providing them with the necessary legal protection.

 

He expressed His confidence that the law will achieve a balance between respecting the rights of refugees and the requirements of national security, which will enhance stability in the country.

 

For his part, Representative Ahmed Saad Nuwaisar, a member of the House of Representatives, confirmed that the approval The House of Representatives approved the Foreigners Asylum Law, which reflects Egypt’s commitment to providing protection and support to foreigners fleeing conflicts and persecution in their countries. Through its various institutions, it is committed to providing full support to foreigners residing on its territory to ensure their smooth integration into society, while maintaining their psychological and social stability.

 

The member of the House of Representatives pointed out that the law It constitutes a guarantee to protect the rights of refugees from any forms of discrimination or exploitation, and enhances the state’s efforts to provide a safe and stable environment for them. 

He added that Parliament’s approval of this law comes in line with the international obligations of Egypt, which is committed to all Treaties and agreements related to protecting the rights of refugees.

 

The member of the House of Representatives concluded by praising the great role played by government institutions and civil society in caring for foreigners and providing services to them, stressing that this law It will enhance Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support refugees and ensure a decent life for them, within the framework of a comprehensive vision that puts humanity at the forefront of the state’s priorities.
