A malfunctioning interceptor missile fired by the Israeli army at a drone lands in Aqaba, Jordan

Arab Defense Website November 19, 2024: A malfunctioning Israeli interceptor missile reportedly fell inside Jordan early Monday morning after the Israeli Air Force said it intercepted a drone approaching the Eilat area coming from Iraq.

Videos posted online of the incident showed the malfunctioning interceptor missile striking the city of Aqaba on the Red Sea in the Kingdom, which neighbors Eilat, the southernmost city in Israel.

In the video footage, the interceptor missile appeared to have landed near the entrance to Ayla, a luxury development a few hundred meters from the border with Israel.
