Al-Azhar Mosque held the second meeting of the first jurisprudential forum “A Contemporary Vision,” which came under the title “ Forbidden relationships and their danger to the individual and society… An Islamic medical vision, according to the directives of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, as this step carries within it a comprehensive vision that addresses contemporary issues, and provides integrated visions that combine Islamic law and modern medicine.< /p>

Dr. Hassan Al-Saghir, Assistant Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy and General Supervisor of Fatwa at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, confirmed that Islam paid great attention to human privacy and needs, as it permitted what was permissible and forbade what was forbidden, to the point that it He exaggerated the prohibition and its reasons. God Almighty said: “And do not approach adultery. Indeed, it is an immorality and an evil way.” He also emphasized the importance of lowering one’s gaze and guarding one’s chastity. God Almighty said: “ Tell the believers to lower their gazes and guard their private parts. That is better for them. Indeed, God is aware of what they do.” He pointed out that the issue of prohibition is the prohibition of relationships Illegality is outside the scope of what God has commanded in fulfilling the sexual instinct, and this is an eternal and everlasting issue, but today it has taken New names in light of the technological revolution and digitization.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Research Academy pointed out the spread of new names and terms for immoral acts and their palatability through social media, such as: cohabitation, cohabitation, servitude, and exchanging wives, and beautifying these names until one became accustomed to them. Many people change truth into falsehood and light into darkness and call things by other than their names. This is an image issued by Western societies, aiming to weaken the Islamic and moral identity for the purpose of destroying moral values and distancing themselves from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Thus, they wanted to exhaust the minds of the youth and keep them away from… What God Almighty intended when He said: " “You are the best nation ever brought forth to mankind, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and believing in God.” So they began to practice perversion and adopt bad habits and wrong behavior, which He commanded them to stay away from in His saying: " But whoever seeks beyond that – those are the transgressors.”

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy stressed that the issue here is not just a warning against adultery or illegal relations, but rather it is related to the dire consequences of committing such abominations, adding that: Young people’s interest in forbidden things and pornographic sites drains their energy and leads them to the world of forbidden desires and pleasures, but under new names and labels, citing the hadith of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: I heard the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – say: “Indeed, the first thing will be rewarded as it is.” The vessel is filled with water. It means wine. It was said: So how, O Messenger of God, when God has made clear what is clear about it? He said: "They call it by a name other than its name and make it permissible," where the Messenger of God – peace and blessings of God be upon him – linked calling it by another name to making it permissible, and in this hadith there is evidence of the necessity of preserving the naming of things by their legal names.
