Ministry of Health: The services of the presidential initiative “Bedaya” have reached 103 million services since its launch

 Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, announced that the total number of services provided by the “A New Beginning for Human Building” initiative had reached Since its launch, it has provided 103 million, 179 thousand and 25 services.  

During the past four days, the initiative provided 9 million, 307 thousand and 921 services, as 702 thousand and 17 beneficiaries benefited from the initiative’s services in the field of empowering and training women, through 223 services and activities, and 16.7 tons of meat were distributed. It reached 16,740 families, in addition to 66 comprehensive development convoys, benefiting 31,883 citizens, and 277 awareness, scientific and educational seminars for all groups, with a number of participants reaching 5,315.  

 

The initiative’s activities during the past four days included providing 517,737 services in various youth and sports activities and events, and awareness campaigns were implemented and raised awareness of the importance of the first thousand days in life. children through social pioneers, benefiting 65,353 citizens, and assistance (social, educational, scholarships, marriage, and compensation) for 25,595 citizens, in addition to distributing 1,048 disability proof cards and integrated services, and providing rehabilitative services through institutions for the care and rehabilitation of people. 10,383 citizens with disabilities, and the Takaful and Dignity cash support program cards were distributed to 131,303 beneficiaries, and 21,114 women benefited from the rural women’s training project.  

 

The “beginning” was implemented. Door-knocking campaigns to raise awareness about the dangers of addiction and abuse for 10,575 young men and women, in addition to providing health services to 5,733,72 thousand citizens, including therapeutic, preventive, family planning services, home visits, and visits to follow up on pregnancy and child development, with 59 medical convoys participating in providing them.

 

The activities also included the organization of 654 various cultural events, including seminars, lectures, workshops and theatrical performances, which benefited approximately 102,486 citizens, and the financing of 6,001 medium, small and micro projects for youth and first families. By sponsoring and implementing seminars on financial inclusion through female pioneers, from which 9,850 beneficiaries benefited, in addition to providing 87,463 veterinary services, represented by dosing and spraying services, vaccination campaigns, reproductive care, poultry treatment, public health, and guidance seminars.  

 

The “Bedaya” initiative was implemented. Training activities within the national program “Mawaddah” For those about to get married, 7,656 trainees benefited from it, in addition to intensifying the provision of documentation and certification services for official documents and providing services in evening work shifts and through mobile units. These services amounted to 3,732 services in various governorates, in addition to organizing 31 events to spread the culture of safety and health. Professional training, first aid, and awareness of the rights and duties of workers under the Egyptian Labor Law, as well as the economic empowerment of women, lack of discrimination in the work environment, collective labor relations and disputes, and how to search for job opportunities, with the participation of 614 workers in various establishments in the public sector, and the provision of various professional training seminars and courses in the English language. For 181 trainees in various governorates, in addition to handing over contracts to 8 people of determination.
