In an advocacy campaign… female endowment preachers discuss social networking sites and family stability
Today, Friday, the Ministry of Endowments launched a major advocacy convoy for female preachers in a number of mosques in the West Nasr City administration in Cairo, under the title “Social networking sites and their impact on family stability.”
The event witnessed a wide turnout from the public, and the participants were received with remarkable warmth from the audience.
During the convoy, the female preachers addressed the importance of the rational use of social networking sites, noting that these means have become an integral part of It is an integral part of the lives of individuals and societies, which requires dealing with it wisely to avoid its negative effects that may lead to family disintegration and behavioral deviation.
They warned of the dangers of misusing it because of its serious consequences on the human being. The system of values and social relations, leading to effects that may go beyond individuals and affect society as a whole, including its impact on marital life and increased divorce rates as a result of revealing marital secrets or addiction to these means.
The preachers also touched on the risks associated with technological developments that have invaded our daily lives and are affecting the system of societal values and behaviors, which requires adequate awareness of these challenges and how to deal with them ideally.
She concluded The preachers spoke by emphasizing that marital life is based on cooperation and partnership between spouses, as each complements the other in performing their message.
The preaching caravan was organized in several mosques in the administration of western Nasr City. A group of female preachers participated in it, as follows:
– *Al-Iman Mosque, Ramses Extension*: Preacher Rehab Khairy Al-Sayyed, and preacher Engy Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab.
– *Al-Zohour Club Mosque*: Preacher Omnia. Ibrahim Maghribi, and preacher Mona Ahmed Abdel Hamid.
– *Al-Nour Mosque, Ramses Extension*: Preacher Reham Abdel Nabi Sanad, and preacher Sahar Ahmed Naeem.
– *Al-Rahman Mosque, Arab Contractors*: Preacher Salwa Muhammad Abdel Raouf, and preacher Randa Muhammad Amin.
– *Al-Aziz Mosque, Ideal Contractors Residences*: Preacher Nadia Muhammad Younis Al-Barashi, and preacher Mona Eid Muhammad.
These convoys are part of the Ministry of Awqaf’s plan for the month of November, with the aim of strengthening family cohesion and raising awareness of the importance of confronting social challenges that may affect family stability.
