Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin made a rare public appearance with two of his children on Monday evening when he attended a Kamala Harris rally in Philadelphia.
The 52-year-old star took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself and his 16-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino posing next to Vice President Kamala Harris, who failed to win the 2024 US Presidential election.
Martin was dressed in a black sweater and matching loose-fitting pants, and his teenage boys looked just as smart in blazers as they smiled for the camera next to Harris, 60.
The Livin’ la vida loca hitmaker captioned his post: ‘History class for my boys. Such a pleasure to perform at her rally in Philadelphia. Don’t forget to vote familia. @kamalaharris #harrisforpresident,’ but turned comments off.
In another snap, Martin is grinning from ear-to-ear as he watched Harris shake hands with one of his sons, and the singer later took to the stage outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art to perform for fellow Democrat supporters.

Martin also shares daughter Lucia, five, and son Renn, also five, with his -husband Jwan Yosef, but he usually opts to keep his children out of the spotlight.
As Election Day got underway on November 5, Martin was active on his Instagram Stories and wrote: ‘Good luck America, I hope it’s a girl!’ but he hasn’t posted since it was announced that Donald Trump had won.
But he’s not the only one, as the Hollywood A-listers who led the charge to back Harris on the campaign trail have remained silent after Trump smashed through with a resounding election win.
Harris had dozens of stars backing her White House bid, with showbiz royalty Oprah and Beyoncé, among others, accompanying her at her events.
Blockbuster stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts featured in her campaign ads, and millennial and Gen-Z icons, such as Taylor Swift and Charli XCX, urged citizens to turn up at the polls – but her campaign’s reliance on ‘virtue-signaling’ A-listers was not enough.
Trump, 78, became the nation’s next president after capturing votes in a wave of swing states, winning both the popular vote and the electoral college overnight.
He received the backing of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, former WWE star Hulk Hogan, and Joe Rogan, who delivered a last-minute endorsement of the Republican candidate on the eve of Election Day.
While it is debatable what effect celebrity endorsements actually have on voters, experts claim that Rogan’s single endorsement to his millions of followers likely helped Trump much more than the star-studded line-up preaching the blue wall.

MAGA supporters took to social media to congratulate Trump after he was declared the winner of the 2024 election.
‘The people of America gave @realdonaldtrump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight,’ Musk, who attended Trump’s election night party, tweeted on his social media platform X.
Rogan, whose last minute endorsement is understood to have resonated with male voters, wrote: ‘WHOLE. LEE. S**T.’
Country musician John Rich celebrated the victory with a post reading: ‘WE WIN!! Thank you Lord!!’
‘THERE WILL BE NO LATE NIGHT BALLOT DROP THIS YEAR… THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN,’ added comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider.
