Trump, Harris polls tighten; Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan rallies held

Trump has again brought out a mother who blames the Biden administration’s border policy for the death of her daughter.

As The New York Times reports, Trump ceded the spotlight to Patty Morin, whose daughter, Rachel Morin, 37, was raped and murdered by an undocumented immigrant last year while jogging in Maryland, the authorities said.

Trump is attempting to use the stories of grieving mothers to suggest the Biden-Harris administration’s immigration policy has failed the American people.

“It’s been four years in our country mourning because of the hardships that have been inflicted on us that are unnecessary,” Morin told the crowd in Reading, Pennsylvania.

After thanking her, Trump returned to the microphone, telling the crowd, “We can’t let savages come in from other countries.”

“Last night we had a woman from Puerto Rico [who] lost her daughter, maybe [the] same kind of thing, migrant came in from a country, just brutal, just killed her,” he said, referring to his rally in Georgia.

“And on day one, I will launch the largest deportation program of criminals in American history,” Trump promised again.

“We’re going to get them out.”
