Taylor Swift has brought her Eras Tour to The Big Easy – and her BFFs Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were there to cheer her on!
On Friday, Oct. 25, the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” singer, 34, hit the stage at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and during her performance of “Cruel Summer” a fan captured a video of Lively, 37, and Reynolds, 48, in what appeared to be a VIP area of the venue.
In the clip, which was posted on X (formerly Twitter), the actress stood behind her husband as he danced to the music, chatting to another attendee before turning back to Reynolds.
Another video posted on TikTok, showed the couple at various points throughout the show, and gave a closer look at their cute matching outfits. Reynolds opted for a short sleeved, white shirt and dark pants, while Lively also wore white, sporting a fitted white vest and white shirt over the top.
The pair was captured cuddling up at several points in Swift’s concert, with Reynolds standing behind Lively with his arms appearing to be wrapped around her waist as they swayed together to the music. The It Ends With Us actress was also spotted filming Swift’s performance on her phone and singing along to the show.
“Nola N1 VIP with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds,” was written over the video, while the TikTok user had added, “Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are the cutest,” in the post’s caption.
A second TikTok video showed the couple dancing and chatting as they watched Swift perform “Shake It Off,” with Reynolds placing his arms around Lively’s shoulder at one point as he leaned in to talk to her.
Swift has been close friends with Lively and Reynolds for some time, having been pal with the actress since 2015, and most recently had a double date night with the couple and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at The Corner Store in New York City on Oct.11. The pair have also previously attended Eras Tour shows, including in Philadelphia back in May, with several of their four children. Lively and Reynolds have also joined Swift to cheer on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce at his team’s game against the New York Jets in New Jersey in October 2023.
Before kicking off the first of her three shows at the Superdome — home of the New Orleans Saints — the venue decorated its facade with a massive friendship bracelet.
“A welcome for Taylor,” the Saints’ official Instagram captioned photos of its new look, which is a nod to Swift’s fans swapping handmade beaded bracelets during the tour, inspired by lyrics in her Midnights song “You’re on Your Own Kid”: “Make the friendship bracelets / Take the moment and taste it.”
Swift kicked off her career-spanning, record-shattering Eras Tour in March 2023, launching it in the U.S. before heading to Central and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
On Oct. 18, Swift got back on the road, starting the final North American leg of the spectacle with three nights in Miami. At Hard Rock Stadium, she treated the crowd to several new outfits and mash-ups of beloved hits and deep cuts, as well as surprise duets with her “FLORIDA!!!” collaborator Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine.
“The Eras Tour is BACK and the 3 Miami crowds we just got to play for were on a new level,” Swift captioned an Oct. 22 Instagram post. “With only 5 cities left to play before it’s over, I knew I was going to be savoring every moment up on that stage but the bewildering passion of those crowds really blew my mind.”
“The mass quantities of joyful people genuinely living in the moment and seeming truly carefree for 3.5 hours,” she added. ”Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who followed along online. 4 more cities left and the next one up is: New Orleans!”
