Weekly cash gas prices were lower for the Oct. 21-25 trading period with losses spread widely at hubs across the country amid weak demand driven by mild fall weather.
NGI’s Weekly Spot Gas National Avg. slid 7.5 cents week/week to $1.645/MMBtu. The price retreat followed a sharp decline the prior week after four weekly gains and an Oct. 7 weekly high of $2.330.
Large losses at California hubs were led by PG&E Citygate, down 66.5 cents week/week to $2.895. In the Rocky Mountain region MountainWest fell 22.5 cents to $1.635.
