The Syracuse Crunch are entering their Taylor Swift era.
The Crunch will hold an “Eras Night” on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Upstate Medical University Arena at Onondaga County War Memorial in Syracuse. The event will feature Swift’s music, a friendship bracelet-making station, and a hockey game at 7 p.m. between the AHL team and the Belleville Senators; Swifties are also encouraged to dress up in their favorite “The Eras Tour” outfits.
Oh, and the Crunch will also be giving away two tickets to see Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert in Toronto on Nov. 16, courtesy of Fan Cave Tickets. All fans who attend the game will be able to scan a QR code and enter-to-win the concert tickets.
The winner will be selected during the second intermission of the game. (Note: Entries are limited to one per person. Fans must be present in-arena at the time of the ticket drawing. The winner must be 18 or older to win or have an adult present to accept the prize.)

Swift is scheduled to perform at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23; the six shows are among her closest concerts to Syracuse. Tickets are available through and ; prices are listed at over $1,000 each.
Events for Swifties have exploded in popularity over the past couple years, in part due to Swift’s huge fanbase and high demand for her billion-dollar-grossing “The Eras Tour” concerts (which hasn’t had any stops in Upstate New York). Thousands of fans sang and danced to DJ Swiftie at the New York State Fair last month, and Swift tribute bands have sold out multiple shows in Central New York.
