Prime Minister: Egypt was not late in paying the fund’s dues

 Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed today that he is focusing on the petroleum sector, agreements, and the presence of representatives of international companies, and follows the petroleum sector, challenges, and vision every day in the coming period.

The Prime Minister said, in a press conference, at the Council of Ministers headquarters, that more investments will be pumped in and a large part will address the existing challenges.

The Prime Minister referred to the President’s participation in the BRICS summit and the President’s directives, and his clarification of the global crisis for developing countries and the bilateral partnerships between the BRICS countries to overcome the crisis, pointing to the visit to Minya and Samalout, and this is a model for all governorates of Egypt, and the governorates will gradually be introduced to the health insurance system.

The Prime Minister said that the President’s vision and speech at the Population Conference are building for the Egyptian human being, and the President said that the state has succeeded in reducing unemployment by 6.5% in the recent period and providing job opportunities for youth.

The Prime Minister drew attention to the President’s statement about reviewing the International Monetary Fund program, and we worked on this program in the midst of specific challenges and timings, and successive events occurred during the Gaza and Lebanon wars, and there are repercussions, and we are looking with the Fund at the program’s goals and the economic group present in the Fund’s meetings in a manner consistent with the Egyptian interest and minimizing the effects on the citizen. Referring to the same rumors that exist regarding the statements of the International Monetary Fund, last January, the Fund praised the program and the new floating of the currency. Thank God, the movement of foreign exchange, there are no investor requests, has stopped, and things are proceeding normally and regularly, even at the height of the crisis. There is no delay in paying the IMF dues. International.
