Counselor Ahmed Abboud, President of the State Council, received today Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, at the headquarters of the State Council.
During the meeting, possible aspects of cooperation between the State Council and the Ministry of Investment were discussed. and foreign trade, in a way that would reflect positively on the investment climate in the country, and remove any obstacles that may arise in the path of investors and their businesses, especially with regard to providing the necessary legal advice and laws related to investment.
Counselor Ahmed Abboud, Chairman of the State Council, confirmed that the State Council, especially through the Legislation Department, which undertakes careful review and previous oversight of the draft laws that are referred to it and controls their legal wording, is keen that the draft laws come out in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. And keeping pace with the times and the state’s general orientation towards making it easy for investors and facilitating their entry into the various investment sectors in a way that contributes to the advancement of the Egyptian economy.
For his part, Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment, expressed his great appreciation to the State Council. And its distinguished judges achieve justice and fairness to rights holders and establish a reassuring and attractive climate for investment through its fair and complete rulings under the rule of law.
