Kayla Nicole admits fallout with Chiefs WAGs amid Travis Kelce breakup after unfollowing Brittany Mahomes

Kayla Nicole has hinted that she has fallen out with some of the Kansas City Chiefs WAGs since her split with Travis Kelce.

The influencer opened up on her previous relationship with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend during an appearance on Angel Reese’s podcast.

The WNBA star asked Nicole: ‘Are you still friends with the WAGs that you were friends with when you were there?’

Nicole laughed awkwardly and said ‘yes, yes I was, I was’ before laughing again, to which Reese said: ‘No, not friends anymore?’

Nicole, still laughing, continued: ‘I feel so calm and comfortable and then it is like (makes slapping gesture). Yeah, we were cool. We are not as cool as we were before. That was like family.’

Nicole used to be close to Brittany Mahomes while she was dating Travis Kelce 

Nicole was a bridesmaid for Brittany Mahomes when she married Chiefs quarterback Patrick, who is good friends with Kelce. 

Nicole revealed last year that she unfollowed the Mahomes family on social media amid them becoming closer friends with Kelce and Swift. 

She said to People: ‘The reality is I know these people in real life. 

‘And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made. She (Brittany) knows that I love her.

‘But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.’ 

There had been suggestions in recent weeks that Mahomes and Swift may have fallen out amid Brittany’s decision to publicly endorse Donald Trump in next month’s election. 

But Mahomes, who is pregnant with her and Patrick’s third child, shared a picture on Instagram on Wednesday of Swift holding her baby bump.

Mahomes often sat with Swift at Chiefs games last season as they cheered the team on to Super Bowl glory. The two couples also went to the US Open final in New York last month.
