The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood launched a new initiative under the slogan “Friend them, and you will win them.” With the aim of providing a package of educational consultations for fathers, mothers and caregivers on positive parenting methods, within the framework of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building”.

 

Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati, President of the Council, confirmed The National Center for Childhood and Motherhood stresses the importance of supporting parents and assisting them in raising their children in a sound and healthy manner. It is based on respecting the child, listening to him and his ideas, and taking into account his feelings, and it also helps them create a psychologically normal and balanced child. 

 

Al-Sunbati added that the “Friend them, you will win them” initiative. A set of educational advice will be provided by consultants specialized in behavior modification and experts in this field, and will include a number of topics that suit every age stage, starting from early childhood through adolescence, and the most important problems facing parents and offering practical solutions to confront them. 

 

Al-Sunbati explained that the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood also receives all consultations and inquiries for families through the child helpline 16000 or through the WhatsApp application on the number 01102121600 or through the page The official website of the Council on the social networking site Facebook, pointing out that the Council also provides psychological support service through the Psychological Support and Family Guidance Unit of the General Administration for Child Help.
