Minister of Irrigation: Digital transformation and linking with state institutions are the main focus for the development of the Survey Authority
The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Dr. Hani Sweilem, confirmed that digital transformation and connectivity with various state institutions is the main focus of the development of the Egyptian General Authority for Survey. This came during a meeting held by the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation with a number of the ministry’s leaders, to review the future vision for developing the Survey Authority.
Dr. Sweilem reviewed the proposed vision for the development of the Survey Authority, which includes completing the digital transformation system and automating the authority’s work to facilitate procedures and fulfill the authority’s obligations towards national projects and towards all governmental and private sectors of the state, and implementing a national project to create a property database, to create integration with the information infrastructure project for the system. Development proposals also include expanding partnerships with the private sector, to overcome the problem of labor shortages and benefiting from the modern technologies available to these entities, continuous coordination and holding joint cooperation protocols, to assign work to companies approved by the Authority exclusively, and working to develop the General Marketing Administration. In order to enhance the human capabilities of the Survey Authority’s employees, development work includes improving the work efficiency of the General Administration of the Survey Training Center, to raise the capabilities of the Authority’s employees, and relying on transformational training to fill the deficit in some specializations in the Authority.
The Minister directed continued coordination with various state agencies, to provide the services available from the Survey Authority in a manner befitting its distinguished position in preserving and approving properties and assisting various state agencies to achieve their desired development goals, while accelerating the disbursement of compensation to citizens in various projects.
Dr. Hani Sweilem also directed that the Survey Authority coordinate with the various entities of the Ministry of Irrigation, to conduct transfer training for workers and administrators wishing to work for the Authority, provided that they are trained before transferring to the Survey Authority to enable them to engage in the work that will be assigned to them. span>
