Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have shared images of their wedding for the first time, months after the power couple reportedly tied the knot in a ceremony in Italy.
The pair, who announced their engagement last year, took to their respective Instagram pages on Thursday to revel in their newlywed bliss, with Brown seen in the photos sporting a stunning lace gown and veil designed by Galia Lahav.
“Forever and always, your wife,” the Stranger Things star wrote alongside a swathe of romantic snaps from the big day. For his part, Bongiovi — the son of famous musician Jon Bon Jovi — sent the love right back, declaring in his own caption to be “forever and always, your husband”. Cute!
The happy couple are pictured wandering the fields of an Italian estate (I felt poor just writing that), kissing under a floral archway (hay fever, be damned), and just serving general honeymooner energy (*cries in single*).
It seems Brown donned three dresses throughout the ceremony (maybe because Eleven only ever gets to wear hospital garb), including a Bridgerton-adjacent halter neck number and a white minidress while dancing at the reception.
While the guest list is not officially known, The Sun reports that the pair’s wedding was an intimate affair with the families of both Brown and Bongiovi in full attendance.
It also looks like actor Matthew Modine — who plays the villainous Dr. Martin Brenner on Stranger Things — might have officiated the nuptials, since he is pictured at the end of the wedding aisle in between the newlyweds. Thankfully, there was no sign of Vecna.
It marks the first glimpse we’ve gotten into the couple’s wedding, which actually took place back in May in Tuscany.
While they have kept their romance largely under wraps, Jon Bon Jovi said in May that “the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be”. Meanwhile, I just got ghosted on Hinge for the tenth time this month.
In June, the couple caught the ire of some people on the internet after they were seen sporting marriage merch while honeymooning in Orlando, with various garments featuring phrases like “wifey” and “wife of the party”. Get it? Because wife sounds like life! Ha! I love being single!
The internet seemed to be in two minds about the attire, but if I had bagged Ms. Eleven herself, I’d also be proclaiming it to the world. Heck, I’d even take Vecna at this point.
