Samuel L. Jackson attends Chiefs vs Falcons with acting legend and longtime Atlanta fan set to cheer on team against Travis Kelce and Co

Acting legend Samuel L. Jackson is set to cheer his beloved Atlanta Falcons on against the Kansas City Chiefs tonight.

Jackson, a longtime Falcons fan, is in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the team’s showdown with the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

He will be hoping for Atlanta (1-1) to pull off an upset victory against the likes of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are 2-0 so far this season.

It remains to be seen whether Jackson will be joined in the stands by pop megastar Taylor Swift for this evening’s game.

Swift has made it to both of boyfriend Kelce’s Chiefs outings so far this season, with the songstress expected to be at Mercedes-Benz Stadium amid her current Eras Tour break.

As well as watching on in the crowd, Jackson is also appeared in a cinematic opening sequence on Sunday Night Football, where he sent a rallying cry to the Falcons ahead of the big game.

‘The challenges come at you fast and they come at you furious… never more so when their names are Kelce and Mahomes,’ the Pulp Fiction icon said in his monologue.

‘It’s about fighting with everything you’ve got to survive… and taking advantage of nights that can get everyone talking about you differently… nights like this where you play hard, hit hard, and rise up!’

The Falcons have their work cut out tonight as they prepare to lock horns with the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Kelce, their star tight end of the last decade, arrived at Mercedes-Benz Stadium dressed for the occasion in a bold oversized black jacket and tie.

He completed the look with a white dress shirt, sunglasses and bright red sneakers after he boarded the team bus in black slip-ons moments before.

On the field, Chiefs coach Andy Reid is set to make a bold lineup call on Sunday to offer Mahomes some added protection on his blindside.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, second-year offensive lineman Wanya Morris will start the game at left tackle, in place of second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia – who heads to the bench.

Suamataia was drafted No 63 overall out of BYU and impressed enough during training camp to be handed the start in Week 1.

However, Mahomes has taken four sacks through the first two games and he’s also thrown three interceptions – so Reid is unsurprisingly looking to make him a bit more comfortable.
