Arab Defense Website September 19, 2024: For the first time, the Saudi version of the C2/C4 command and control vehicle LAV 700, the latest and most powerful of its kind, has appeared.
The advanced LAV 700 command and control vehicle was first shown at IDEX 2017. Powered by a 711-horsepower Caterpillar C13 engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, the LAV 700 has a top speed of 110 km/h and a range of nearly 1,000 km.
In terms of armament, the LAV 700 is equipped with a remotely controlled weapon station for 12.7/7.62 mm caliber, and an additional combat turret at the rear.
