Earlier this month, Levi’s and Boiler Room announced they would be partnering to host an event celebrating music, self-expression and club culture. Following the launch of its ‘The Floor Is Yours’ campaign, the event brought Levi’s brand ethos to life. Last Thursday night, the American denim lifestyle brand and music platform brought the party over the Atlantic to London.
With a stage in the middle of a 360 setup, you could enjoy the night regardless of where in the venue you were. From interactive installations and fun performances to a social smoking are, the whole party was a celebration of London at its best.
For those who missed out, we broke down what went down below.
Hidden away in a location you would drive past and not realise was so big inside, the party was hosted at Archives in Tottenham Hale. At the entrance there was a TV installation live streaming dancing straight from the party, bringing to life Levi’s ‘The Floor Is Yours’ campaign which celebrates the freedom of movement.
Hosted by Shaolin Wavy, the night started with a warm-up set from twin DJ duo WAAW. They were followed by performances from Wu Lu, Grove, Ojerime, Niko B, and Jawnino – the latter of whom brought out EbEE, Kibo and James Massiah as surprise guests. Across many different sounds and aesthetics, each artist brought their own individual touch to the performances, defying genres and labels.
Similar to the event in Brooklyn, Levi’s and Boiler Room wanted to champion emerging talent. On the top of many DJs’ bucket lists is performing at a Boiler Room, so the party gave four DJs the chance to do just that. The winners of the open call were Anything but Becky, Who Is TeeKay?, Emillian, and Mamoussa. Each of the four performed 15-minute sets.

When you think of Niko B, the Gossip Girl opening song is probably not the first thing that comes to mind but during his fun performance, he got the crowd hyped dancing around to “Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn featuring Victoria Bergsman. The 23-year-old then performed all his deep cuts and more viral songs, closing out with “Who’s That What’s That”.
