Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestling player Moamen Rabie lost to Venezuelan player Raber Rodriguez 12-1 in the 60kg weight class in the consolation round at the 2025 Paris Olympics.

Egyptian wrestling team player Moamen Rabie had secured participation in the consolation matches in the 60kg Greco-Roman wrestling competition after Chinese champion Cao Liguo won and qualified for the final at the Paris Olympics.
Egyptian wrestling team player Moamen Rabie lost in the 60kg weight class to world number two Chinese Cao Liguo 6-2 in the round of 16. Egyptian wrestling is participating with 11 seats in the Paris Olympics, with 6 seats for Greco-Roman wrestling, 4 for freestyle wrestling, and one seat for women’s wrestling.
