An urgent search is underway for a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s east, as police appeal for assistance from the public.
Mia Duffy, 16, was last seen in Maroubra about 4pm on Saturday.
When she could not be located or contacted, police were notified and commenced inquiries to find her.
Officers hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Mia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a medium build and blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a white shirt with grey or light-coloured track pants.
She is known to frequent the Rockdale, Haymarket and Town Hall areas.
Anyone with information into her whereabouts has been urged to call police or Crime Stoppers.
