Ahhhh the paparazzi. The bane of reality TV’s Baine Marie when it comes to spoilers, and it looks like Network 10’s The Amazing Race is its latest victim.
For folks who’ve yet to feast their eyes on The Amazing Race, the show follows a bunch of folks — in teams of two — who must complete a bunch of challenges that relate to the country they’re travelling in. In the Celebrity Edition, whoever wins the race receives a whopping $100K for their chosen charity.
Last year, Aussie sporting icons Tai ‘Bam Bam’ Tuivasa and Logan Tuivasa won The Amazing Race and won $100K for the Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation.

On Sunday, photos of celebrities racing out of Sydney airport were published on news.com.au, revealing the rumoured cast for this year’s competition.
Celebrities caught up in The Amazing Race 2025 hype included Australian Idol star turned Aussie musical icon Rob Mills alongside his fiancée and The Project journalist Georgie Tunny, Desserts Masters‘ Melissa Leong, Aussie fitness star Tiffiny Hall and her hubby and Aussie comedian Ed Kavalee, Below Deck‘s Aesha Scott and her partner Scott Dobson, and former Big Brother host Gretel Killeen.
For reality TV punters, this rumoured cast is feeling like one of those Disney Channel specials where a bunch of its iconic shows would pump out a cross-over episode.
I’m thinking something like 2006’s “That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana”. ICONIC.
Alongside these flocking celebs, Brendan Fevola has been tipped to be joining the race alongside his 18-year-old daughter Leni after he announced that he would be temporarily leaving his radio show on Friday.
When will The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition 2025 start?
Unfortunately, Network 10 has not provided keen viewers with an exact premiere date. But if this is set to be the cast list, we can assume it’ll kick off soon as filming must’ve begun!
Not to be biased, but I’m definitely rooting for my girls Melissa, Georgie and Aesha to take The Amazing Race crowns!
