Newly uncovered images have revealed Married At First Sight groom Eliot Donovan’s racy past as a topless waiter.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the 35-year-old business owner previously spent six years working in the adult industry, stripping down for ladies’ nights and lavish bachelorette parties.

In resurfaced Polaroid-style photos, a fresh-faced Eliot can be seen grinning as he flaunts his chiselled physique at Australian model Jennifer Hawkins’ hens’ party.

One of the snapshots shows Hawkins in a white mini dress and heels, with her golden locks cascading over her face, as she giggles beside a shirtless Eliot, who proudly showcases his toned abs and tattooed chest.

Another image captures the MAFS groom posing in a lively group of partygoers, striking a playful stance as they dance the night away.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Eliot reflected on his risqué past, admitting that while it was a unique chapter in his life, he never saw it as a long-term career.

‘It was an interesting experience, but I didn’t see it as something that I could reconcile with a serious relationship,’ he revealed.

Meanwhile, Hawkins, who is seen in the candid throwback images, was simply letting her hair down during a girls’ weekend at The Star in Sydney.

The former Miss Universe winner and business mogul stayed at The Darling Hotel with a close-knit group that included her mother, Gail, and sister, Kristy.

Eliot worked as a topless waiter between the ages of 20 and 26, appearing at private events, clubs, and high-end venues.

He eventually left the industry behind to focus on business ventures in Australia and Sri Lanka.

Earlier reports suggest that he previously served in the navy.

It comes as an insider has now come forward with explosive claims about what really happened in Eliot and his bride Veronica Cloherty’s relationship, suggesting the show only captured part of the story.

A source claims Eliot and Veronica’s honeymoon phase was very short-lived.

‘At the start Eliot and Veronica clicked. Things felt really natural and easy, just like what viewers later saw with her and Dave during Feedback Week,’ the insider explained.

‘But after the first dinner party Veronica’s behaviour towards Eliot changed dramatically. Off-camera she would tell him things like, ‘Your plot has already been written.’ It felt more like he was living with a prison guard than a wife.’

According to the source, tensions escalated when Veronica started forming alliances with Lauren Hall, Eliot’s first wife in the experiment.

‘Veronica made it clear—Lauren was her friend now and if Eliot didn’t follow along with what she said she would confirm the negative things Lauren had said about him. It was a toxic situation looking back,’ they added.

The insider also alleged that Veronica later tried to distance herself from Lauren when she realised public opinion was shifting against her.

‘When people started seeing how horrible Lauren was, Veronica suddenly began using Dave to manipulate Eliot, constantly telling him how amazing Dave was and how he didn’t measure up,’ the source claimed.

Perhaps the most damning claim is that Veronica had a calculated strategy in how she wanted to be portrayed on the show.

‘Looking back, it seems like Veronica made a bet that Lauren would be shown as a damsel in distress and she positioned herself as the hero to save the day by putting Eliot in his place, regardless of who he really was or how he acted,’ the insider said.

But according to the source, things didn’t go as planned.

‘Honestly, Veronica’s plan might have worked if it wasn’t for the big hearts of Jamie, Awhina, and Beth, who stood up for Eliot at the dinner party after the confessions letter. That moment shifted the group’s dynamic and suddenly Lauren started showing her true colours, which in turn exposed Veronica,’ they added.

Eliot and Veronica ultimately walked away from the experiment following a heated Commitment Ceremony that left both their co-stars and the experts divided.

Veronica accused Eliot of ‘baiting’ her, claiming he repeatedly shut her down in conversations.

‘No matter how many times I try to resolve it it doesn’t end well for me,’ she told the experts, adding she felt ‘blindsided’ by Eliot’s ‘amazing persona’ in front of the group.

A visibly frustrated Eliot pushed back.

‘So many things she has said are blatant lies. If anyone is doing the baiting it’s her,’ he fired back.

The couple’s explosive row was only fuelled by their troubled Feedback Week, where Veronica admitted she felt more connected to Dave Hand, her swapped husband, than to Eliot.

She even praised Dave for his small but thoughtful actions after meals while making pointed comments about Eliot’s lack of effort.

Eliot, in a last-ditch effort to reconnect, even offered Veronica bone broth but she stormed out of their apartment.
