The success of an amputated hand transplant surgery for a patient at the Emergency Hospital in Al -Aini Palace

Cairo University has achieved a new medical achievement that reflects the continuous development in health care, as the Reception and Emergency Hospital at Qasr Al -Aini Hospital succeeded in conducting complex surgery, which lasted 11 hours, to transplant an amputated hand for a 20 -year -old patient, for the second time in the history of the hospital, led to the restoration of life for the amputated hand, thanks to cooperation and integration between multiple doctors’ teams Specializations.
