Controversial rapper Kanye West, one of the few public figures openly showing support for disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has released a new song that allegedly features Combs from prison.
The song, “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine”, was released by West in an X (formerly Twitter) post.
In the post, West also claims the song features his daughter North, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, as well as Combs’ son Christian ‘King’ and “new Yeezy singer” Jasmine Williams.

The song begins with a phone call between West and a man believed to be Combs from prison, thanking West for taking care of his children.
“I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man,” the man believed to be Combs said.
“Ain’t nobody reach out to them, ain’t nobody call them.”
West then replies, “Absolutely, I love you so much man.”
“You raised me. Even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?”
Ye’s daughter, North, and Williams are then heard singing the song’s hook: “Comin’ on my own for a long time / Lonely roads still go to sunshine.”
Combs’ son Christian is also featured on the track, who raps that he’s “fly like D.I.D.D.Y.”
According to TMZ, Kardashian allegedly attempted to block the song’s release via a cease and desist.
TMZ also claims that an emergency hearing with a mediator and a judge was held to discuss North’s feature on the song, but West did not attend. He allegedly “promised” not to release the track to Kardashian.
West also released screenshots of an alleged text conversation between him and his ex-wife, which said he will “never” speak to her again.

Social media users have reacted to West’s song in his original X thread, with one X user stating that North has “two terrible parents.”
“Puff is a pedo, keep his name away from your kids,” wrote one user.
“This is hot garbage lol,” wrote another.

Diddy is currently held at a prison in Brooklyn for accusations of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and more related charges. His trial is expected to begin in May.
