Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has been rife with controversial pairings. However, in a ‘yuge twist, paparazzi pics have seemingly confirmed the relationship status of a rumoured post-reality TV couple swap, and lowkey, I kinda dig it!
This article contains Married At First Sight spoilers. It’s up to you if you wanna stay or leave.
After weeks upon weeks of speculation, sneaky paparazzi pics obtained by Woman’s Day have seemingly confirmed that Jacqui Burfoot and intruder groom Clint Rice are now a couple.
In the cheeky snaps, which were reportedly taken in Tasmania late last week, the pair were spotted packing on the PDA whilst enjoying a sunny hike.
In one photo, Jacqui and Clint shared a ‘yuge snog while enjoying a cup of coffee. If that doesn’t tell you that they’re on, then IDK what else to tell ya, matey!

Rumours of a relationship between the unlikely couple swap began to brew when Clint first entered the experiment, where he was matched with returning season 12 bride Lauren Hall.
ICYMI, Jacqui has been utilising her jewellery business page to air out behind-the-scenes gossip about MAFS and how she was portrayed on the show. She also revealed that she and self-proclaimed warrior groom, Ryan Donelly, were no longer together and that she was “in fact happy and in a loving long-term relationship”.

Alongside the hot tea, online MAFS sleuths began to notice that she was posting from Clint’s home.
How do we know it’s Clint’s home? Well, the former pro-golfer shared a home tour on his IG which featured a detailed overview of his house and every room.

Another clue that hinted towards their relationship was that Jacqui was spotted in the reflection of one of Clint’s pictures, which was shared on his dogs’ official Instagram page. Sneaky, sneaky!
So, with these new pap pics, two golden questions have been answered…
Are Lauren Hall and Clint Rice still together?
After a heated Commitment Ceremony — where Lauren was handed a talking to for the way she insulted her fellow co-stars, labelling them “boganic” — Lauren and Clint left the experiment together.
While the pair tried to make an effort outside the show, with Clint revealing to 9Entertainment that Lauren had visited him in Tasmania, the pair ended up calling things off.

As mentioned previously, Jacqui spoiled the ending of her storyline through a series of gossip-filled Instagram Stories. At the time of writing, Jacqui and Ryan are still in the experiment as a couple. So, we’re not too sure when and how they end things just yet.
However, according to an inside source, Ryan was reportedly “blindsided” when Clint and Jacqui rocked up to the MAFS reunion together.

“Ryan had no idea. He heard rumours, but seeing it unfold like this left him feeling betrayed,” the insider told Daily Mail Australia.
“He considered Clint a mate — now he feels like they both lied to his face.”
As for Lauren, the insider claimed she was happy for the couple, despite being unable to find love on MAFS for a second time.
Welp, there ya have it! Clint and Jacqui are the new Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough, but definitely in a more positive way.
Married At First Sight returns tonight on Channel Nine and 9Now.
