Jennifer Lopez feels ‘BETRAYED’ by Ben Affleck’s sexy clinch with Jennifer Garner… as shock video confirms singer’s worst fears, insider says

A picture can tell a thousand words. But when it comes to the fallout from the Daily Mail’s bombshell footage of Ben Affleck sharing an intimate moment with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Sunday, just one sticks out: betrayal.

At least, that’s how a source close to Jennifer Lopez – Affleck’s recently divorced, second ex-wife – tells us the 55-year-old singer now feels. And perhaps understandably.

In the exclusive video footage – captured just days after JLo and Affleck’s divorce was officially finalized last month – Affleck can be seen tenderly embracing Garner, the mother of his three children, with his arm around her lower waist.

The pair, both 52, were out paintballing near Los Angeles with two of their teenage kids.

‘[JLo] saw the paintballing images when the rest of the world did, and of course it will make her question things from their time together,’ the source close to Lopez said. ‘Her friends have questioned how platonic Jen [Garner] and Ben are.’

‘She will feel betrayed because she invested so much time in supporting Ben through his challenges and had a rough year as their marriage broke down,’ the source added. ‘Seeing how quickly he has started spending more time with Garner has exacerbated the concerns she already had about his relationship with her while they were married.’

The collapse of the JLo-Affleck marriage was indeed messy.

After having dated in the early 2000s, the pair dramatically rekindled their romance in 2021, before tying the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony the following July.

They bought a $68 million Beverly Hills home together, and JLo subsequently released a new album (‘This Is Me… Now’), an accompanying musical film (‘This Is Me… Now: A Love Story’) and a documentary (‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told’) all dedicated to their rekindling.

But as we would later learn, the fairytale couldn’t be sustained, with insiders revealing that the couple were already ‘unhappy’ on their Italian honeymoon.

Come 2024, and things were rapidly deteriorating. Affleck moved out of the marital home, and into a $100,000-a-month Brentwood rental – just two blocks away from where Garner lives.

His ex-wife – whom he was married to from 2005 until 2018 – soon became something of a regular presence.

The pair had remained friendly after their divorce, and Garner reportedly stepped in as a ‘mediator’ and ‘marriage counselor’ as Affleck’s relationship with JLo collapsed.

For her part, Garner has reportedly been dating tech CEO John Miller since soon after her divorce from Affleck in 2018.

Despite Garner’s efforts to smooth things over behind the scenes, JLo filed for divorce last August.

Affleck reportedly then spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas with Garner and their children.

And, as insiders revealed last month, Affleck and Garner now ‘text, call, and communicate far more than they have over the past several years.’

After the Daily Mail published the intimate paintballing footage on Monday, representatives for both Affleck and Garner did not respond to requests for comment.

However, a source close to Affleck told us: ‘Ben is not Jen’s boyfriend, nor is he her husband anymore. John [Miller] is her partner, and she is happy in her relationship. Ben’s friends truly believe that if Jen and John split, that he would get back together with her in a heartbeat. But that is not the case, and Ben respects her relationship with John.’

That source added: ‘Does it bother John when he sees the two of them being touchy-feely? Sure. It would get to anyone, but this is nothing new. Ben and Jen have a unique relationship, especially for exes. He loves her more than any woman he has ever loved besides his mom. But he also accepts that this cannot be. Not while she is devoted to someone else. Ben will always flirt with Jen, and she sees it as innocent.’

But, of course, the question is: does JLo view her ex-husband’s flirting as innocent, too?

While one source close to the singer was sure it had left her feeling ‘betrayed’ another insider told a different story.

‘[JLo] was never jealous of Jen [Garner],’ the other source said. ‘[Garner and Affleck] are parents to their kids and their connection is that.

‘[JLo] doesn’t always see the pictures or videos of Jen [Garner] and Ben together, she doesn’t seek them out, but when she does see them, she knows that there is a reason for them being together and it usually has to do with their kids.’

Asked about the possibility of a romantic reconnection between Affleck and Garner, this other source said: ‘If Jen [Garner] and Ben were to get back together, what would JLo be able to say? Not much because she did it herself. She wants Ben to be happy, so if that is with the mother of his children, then so be it. [JLo] is a big believer in true love, and everyone is on their own journey, and she knows that [Garner and Affleck’s] kids would absolutely love it.’

Representatives for JLo, Affleck and Garner did not respond to requests for comment.
