Footage emerges of IShowSpeed being DENIED entry to CBS Sports studios – despite being invited on by Thierry Henry and Micah Richards!
Footage has emerged to show internet personality IShowSpeed being denied entry to the CBS Sports studios on Tuesday afternoon.
The social media star – more commonly known as just ‘Speed’ – was recently invited by CBS presenter and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry onto their hit show.
The invite came last week during the Match for Hope charity game, which featured a number of former pros and social media stars.
Despite the invite from the France legend and numerous texts exchanged with Henry’s co-presenter Micah Richards, things didn’t go to plan for Speed on the day.
In footage that emerged on Wednesday, the YouTuber was seen in the lobby area of the CBS studios speaking with a receptionist.
Within seconds, Speed was sent back out the front door and was unable to enter the studios. The clip was then showed on CBS Sports’ Wednesday programme.

Discussing the incident, Richards said: ‘I would like to apologise to IShowSpeed. I’ve been DMing him and he said he wanted to come on the show.
‘He came yesterday but his access got denied. I didn’t know he was coming yesterday!’
The former Man City defender then extended an invite for Speed to join them on their Wednesday broadcast, after the Champions League fixtures on the night have concluded.
Last month, Henry left CBS colleagues Jamie Carragher and Richards in stitches with a brutal IShowSpeed dig during the channel’s Champions League coverage.
Carragher asked Henry: ‘Does he [Speed] understand football… is he in football?’
Henry then responded with: ‘I don’t know if [Speed] loves football, it looks like he was having a debate with the ball when he had it,’ before Carragher and Richards cracked up.
On Friday, meanwhile, IShowSpeed raised the stakes by bringing Wenger into the argument. ‘I was talking to your manager and he said you were faster than me [in your prime],’ he said.

He was invited by Henry to make an appearance on CBS where the Arsenal legend is a pundit
‘Oh yes, maybe. With the ball, for sure,’ said Henry. ‘(Without the ball), I’m not too sure. Check the videos!’
Speed, meanwhile, watched the broadcast, insisting the pundits ‘think I am stupid’ and will ‘remember the name’ of Jamie Carragher after the former defender questioned what he would do if he appeared on the show.
Carragher also challenged the streamer to a race if he appears on the show.
The pair seemed to hit it off and Henry even invited IShowSpeed to join him on US broadcaster CBS where he is a pundit for their football coverage.
